Wall Climbing

Nope, I haven't taken up a new sport (though I am getting desperate). I'm now becoming a mentalist after not running for 5 whole days. The leg remains gammy; after a cruel glimmer of hope and recovery it went bad again. 

So, even more cash spent on more treatment and I'm still not running. Bummer.

  1. I am sorry to hear that you are not running. As much as you don't like not running....perhaps you do need a break to rest those muscles:) Take care of yourself RB!

    I read that you had a good run at the relays last Saturday and thought you were on the mend with this one. I go with U. C and you may make things worse trying to run on it. I'm not a great lover of the inflams and sometimes rest is the only option, heartbreaking as it may seem. Take care.

  5. Thanks all for the supportive words and advice. I think the difficulty is this is an unusual injury and physio advice has been to run. It just doesn't feel good when I do.

    I'm getting a second opinion this week which might help my next steps. However, have just joined a gym and am booked in for spinning tonight. Eek! Not my favourite means of keeping fit but it'll keep my sane for now whilst old leggy gets sorted.

    Gym blogging to follow... I might rename to the adventures of gym bunny :D
